Selfish sewing

Sometimes we need to put everyone else aside and be a little selfish! I did just that this weekend and made a shirt for myself. 

Pattern is from Go To Patterns and it is the Simply Lovely Dress. 

Fabric is a sheer simply silky print I got from Joann's. 

I did as a little length to it. And I realized afterwards I did the straps different. 

But I love the fit and comfort of it. 

I have plans for a maxi dress from this on another silky print, but this time a gradient dyed one.
